Daft Punk are so boring man
That is NOT the best album released in the last 20 years. Reheated soul pastiche, although undeniably deeply felt. Still hits me as ‘music for Strictly’.
She may have gone on to greater things, had she won the battle with her demons, but compared to Frank Ocean and D’Angelo who were doing great and original new things with those same old forms it just seems… tame.
