Based on a UK release date it’s Moonlight by a mile followed by Manchester by the Sea

Have also really enjoyed:

Toni Erdmann
Edge of Seventeen
Jackie
I Am Not Your Negro
A Monster Calls
Free Fire
Lady Macbeth
My Life as a Courgette
Norman - The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer

Haven’t seen very many. Moonlight was the best by a country mile. Lego Batman was shite. Or at least vastly overrated. My disappointement with F8 of the Furious was offset by the unexpectedly joyous daftness of XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

Fave four:

Moonlight
Raw
Silence
Logan

Top Five (pretty much in order)

Manchester by the Sea
Moonlight
Lady Macbeth
Logan
Get Out

Can only assume that hardly anyone saw Raw as it should be on everyone’s list.

I saw it, didn’t make the cut for me

I Am Not Your Negro was also really good

Moonlight
Your Name
Manchester by the Sea
Taekwondo
Certain Women
Jackie

Okja, Win it All, Kong: Skull Island, Edge of 17 were all v enjoyable too.

I really enjoyed Catfight

Where is “here” again?

Don’t often deal which squelchy squealie horror

that the brazilian thing? I thought it sounded quite good, will watch soon

oh yeah I want to see this too, really loved Neighbouring Sounds

Raw
Get Out
Manchester By The Sea
Moonlight
Lady Macbeth
Logan
Silence

Guardian did their list today, I forgot The Love Witch! Didn’t @Ruffers even like that one?
