This one’s so good, an entire genre was named after it.

I feel like ALL the best instrumental tracks are over 3 minutes long. Probably double or triple that

I’d struggle more to think of ‘The Best Instrumental Tracks Under 3 Minutes’

That YouTube clip is 2:59 but on the album it’s 3:05. Let’s allow it.

The ultimate Dirty Three song imo:

(And pleasingly over 13 minutes)

The Notwist had a great one back in 2014 in Lineri. Nice and sad.

My favorite Explosions in the Sky song by far.

I love how hypnotic this is and then how it hits you with that guitar solo about 3 minutes in.

This might be my favorite recorded Mike McCready performance.

Nice and atmospheric. Most people don’t realize they have this side to them.

That part where it erupts is one of the best things ever.

Just fits the criteria. A perfect ending to an incredible album.

I know @NeilYoung already likes this one. A great song to play loud and get lost in.

Really nice one from Hammock a few years ago.

Almost forgot this one somehow. Perfect and miserable and one of the best album closers of all time.

One of the few best songs of last year. Nice and long and sad and tense.

I’ll admit, I threw up the thread late last night while extremely intoxicated

I’m an ambient and drone listener big time, most tracks are over 3 minutes. Hahah

However, the greatest instrumental track of all time is under 3 minutes. I think this was my somewhat drunk reasoning of putting the 3 minute time stamp? :man_shrugging:
