My stock answer for this is Leave by REM in A Life Less Ordinary when he’s being lead through the woods to dig his own grave, the way the tension cranks up then releases with the music is brilliant and I’m not ashamed to admit that it was the thing that got me into REM after dismissing them as a band that mum’s like.
Also its trashy as hell but the way the soundtrack works with the visuals in Natural Born Killers is incredible, especially the jailbreak scene.
The sequence with Trouble too. But yeah the whole soundtrack is ace.
