Better ways to end the story of ''IT'' by Stephen King

For the uninitiated the story of ‘‘IT’’ by Stephen King starts out good with the scary clown going around being scary but ends with him turning out to be a weird space spider that ends up getting killed by an underground magic turtle.

I think we can do better than that, and am open to your suggestions.

The clown could just turn to the camera and say ‘‘I’m tired of all these problems’’ and just leave town for example.

Pennywise decides to change his ways and runs off to join the circus. Possibly as, I dunno, a lion tamer or something…

The ringmasters knew internal clowns were setting them up all along

Isn’t there an orgy in the book? Could have just had another one of those couldn’t they.

It turns out the real killer clowns were the friends they made along the way.
