Website a bit slow but the third season of Riget is showing to a degree.
Got to look at a strand and been losing ever since so not sure what else. Became a member this year for some reason.

In their defence theyâre a charity and its pretty much the only day every year that they get this volume of people using the site so probably not worth their while investing in an upgrade. It is shit though (and donât get me started on the website layout).
The website has been appaling for so long. Why is it so difficult to find what is showing at the Southbank on any given day.

After 5 minutes of loading icon to get to that point
My girlfriend got in at 10.20, spent 20 minutes adding six tickets to her basket, then got an error on the website and lost them all.
This is why we used to go an buy them in person if we couldâŚ

I might just fuck this online booking off now. Not sure why Iâm trying to spend twice as much to see The Banshees of Inisherin at a festival than I will when itâs released properly by this point.
Perilously close to trying the phone lines at this point, but even that relies on the BFIâs internal booking system being quicker.

Yeah, I generally try for the smaller ones. One of the cinema screens only seemed to have about 40 seats, had one in my basket but now my wait time has moved to over an hour. But pissed to be honest. Will see this afternoon I guess.

Oh, I guess itâs partly the kudos of seeing it early and partly thinking âWell, itâs been such a fucking ballache to get into the system in the first place why not cough up ÂŁ30â, but youâre absolutely right. The Brendan Gleeson of In Bruges would deffo look at this situation and decide to fight another day.
We tend to aim for films that have no announced release date or which wonât be out for months.
Anything that is coming out this side of Christmas doesnât go on the list.

Absent the big showings, and most of the films Iâve looked at are ÂŁ14/16, which is roughly Curzon level and cheaper than Everyman.
