Binge-watched this yesterday while sitting at home with a hangover. Absolutely brilliant.
Voice cast is a lot of the usual UCB/cable comedy suspects – Nick Kroll, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate et al – and its humour is somewhere between Rick & Morty and Bojack Horseman without being anywhere near as nihilistic/depressing. Just a really original, honest, innovative look at early adolescence.
I know that sounds weird and it’s clearly aimed at adults rather than teens but it’s done really well, and made me kinda wish I’d had something similar to watch when I was about 13…
