Usually play devil’s avocado with it and say the whole deal is showboating and making fun of the fact he’d probably win the match beforehand if he wanted but he’s going to run about because he can, just one of those things that enhances the character.
Can always understand it’s knowing and postmodern and kinda “wrasslin LOL” but I appreciate that to some extent sometimes, just as his character is/was, but it’s just fun to see.
