It was very good fun. Sound issues were a pain but didn’t spoil it too much.

Also, I might sound too critical but would have preferred bursts of two, three or even four songs before the band stopped to address the audience. The stop-starts were a slight issue (probably only for me) as their songs are so short.

Nonetheless, I’ll be back there tomorrow and looking forward to it. Anyone else going too?

Woman with dyed hair and nose piercing? If so, she was very nice with me with my t-shirt sizing. I asked to see small and medium. She told me that medium would be massive for me and showed me small and extra small. Small looks ok, perhaps slightly big but I’ll change it tomorrow if it’s too big.

Hearing New Radio and In Accordance To Natural Law were great to hear live finally after 20 years of being a fan. The Singles was the first album I bought of theirs and as a result most likely the first song I ever heard of theirs was New Radio. Absolutely love that song. I’ve always put that above Rebel Girl.

We were over on the right hand side about 10 rows back and the sound was fine from there (with ear plugs in). The crowd were good on that side of the room too - it looks like the ‘gents side’ was a bit more boisterous.

I loved how obvious it was that they meant so much to the crowd, and I was surprised how young the crowd was, which was great to see - I was worried that it’d be packed with those old enough to remember them first time around. It means they’re still inspiring people.

Only saw the last two songs from the back of the room due to turning up late. But have seen them before at their own shows and they have always been great. And the album is pretty special too.
