love how guitar and bass complement each other so well in this kind of music, really inspiring
Their first three albums (Pikul EP and Carnavas and Swoon) are incredible. It’s hard to put it into words but Pikul has a certain magic to it that can’t really be replicated, and Carnavas takes you on an absolute ride. Maybe the best use of noise walls I’ve ever heard. And Swoon is a jolt of anxiety (and its opening song is pure Feeder). Think you’d love them.
Yeah, completely agree about the bass and the guitar. Nikki’s a great, great bassist.
yeah it’s really nice like the bassist knows the guitarist is great and vice versa, just joyous to hear them leaving space for each other to build something magical. I will have to listen to some more!
