Morning all 
On my way from Genoa to Nice, on a very pleasant train. Afternoon/early evening in Nice, then a sleeper* train to Paris tonight!
Feels a bit sad to be on the way home (even with the stop-offs) but we’ve made the most of our time away.
* not that I anticipate getting any sleep whatsoever - I am not built for the tiny, hard sleeper beds.

We all had a lie-in which is very rare.
It’s going to be nice here and Wor Lass is feeling better so we’re hopefully going to the park for coffee and sandwiches and ice cream. Unfortunately, she wants to tidy the giant pile of rubbish that has come out of her car this week and thus we might not be free until tonight.

Fringe proper kicks off tonight, off ti a nice big midweek party awooo
booked out the first half of tomorrow for “report writing” aren’t i smart
dentist appointment before then though so the same fucking tooth. Settle down already buddy
Up with bairns. Just watched end of triathlon and now onto beach volleyball.
Still got a load of rotten wood to get to the dump but it is hard work and there’s trying not to wreck your car boot as well, so lots of hammering out nails involved too. It is boring and hard work.
Also the shed needs painted.

Morning DiS,
In the office. Had some delicious overnight oats for breakfast at my desk (honey yogurt, oats, strawberries, chia seeds) and a drive thru coffee. It’s lovely and sunny out and thankfully our aircon is working today.
New laptop day for me (hense being in the office) so that’s nice as mine is very frustrating now, needed a new one for a while really.
Not much else to report tbh, holiday countdown still on (though we’re going a day later now cause of Mr s_w’s work demands).
