it’s Friday! The end to what has been a week of (self imposed) overwork and putting myself out of my comfort zone socially. Also got the house to myself tonight so I can fully indulge whatever emotional state the day will find me in (i.e. I will probably watch The Beast on MUBI)

Last day in work for a week; last office day for 11 days 
got plenty to do, including doing a work handover with my work nemesis who I’ll not see again after today
Going out for lunch with Mrs CCB so that’s nice, then making dishoom tikka chicken and pilaf for dinner.

I’ve gone another 365 days round the sun and am now the ripe old age of 38.
‘Work’ first- will have a birthday bath and pamper session, take myself to the nice cafe next door for a cake and a wanker coffee, pop into the bike shop and say hi and spend some money, before meeting up with some quite frankly brilliant dissers tonight and see los campesinos, who I had in my head as allo darlin 
In the city today - it’s snowed, the sun is out, life is good. (work is a car crash but that’s standard really).
Heading home later to make cookies with the kiddo and make a Brazilian stroganoff for sexy romantic dinner (asleep by 9)

Happy birthday @tilty. I too am celebrating the day of my birth. It’s quite good that I’ve never had to acknowledge the existence of Valentines Day, however the downside is it rules out restaurants, a trip to the cinema, hotels - hopefully my favourite pizza place will be quiet at lunchtime.
