This is a two or three times a year thing these days unfortunately thanks to my board game pals being spread across the country and us all having small kids, but it’s nice when it happens!

Oh, also, finally got to play Ito on Thursday. There was a group of 7 and most of us only knew each other on a very superficial level but it was great and lots of creative clues. One round we had a 32, 62, 63, 65, 67, 74, 75 spread that we almost got correct despite the tight bunching
Played Concordia for only the second? Third? Time in the seven or eight years I’ve owned it. Enjoyed it but we were originally going to play it three player, then two more showed up with nothing to play so we made it a five.
Never play Concordia at five players

Am surprised it’s never had the 
Big Box Deluxe treatment! It’s such a solid game, but I’m always hesitant to introduce it to people because it really is so beige.
Iits too slow with 5? or too hard to explain the rules?
I bought it just based on Quinn’s (shut up and sit down) recommendation alone, but have only played it twice.
Been playing a bit of Caverna recently, what a great game.
Too slow. The game ends when someone places their 15 buildings on the board or when all the extra cards have been bought. We ended up taking away four buildings each and removed six of the cards too as we had already been playing for two hours.

I usually find Actualol a bit too nice but this is a great video
I finally learned how to play Wingspan, very fun, even if you’re losing you get to look at birds. I did place in the middle though with a last round strategy of many eggs pushing me up
