Incredible to think in a year that brought us the newly remastered boc maxima/ few old tunes uploads, the sound desk recordings from that warp event and that straight-from-source upload of a selection of older stuff, that they’ve all been well and truly trounced by a whole new album. in years gone by, that amount of activity would’ve kept us going for YEARS

It would be hard to think of a band/artist that made such a great album so late into their career. Obviously they don’t release much, but even so Inferno is a masterstroke. I’m pleased for them and their fans.

I have the Aphex Twin one and while understandably hagiographic it’s excellent overall.
Thought I had a bit more time to pick up the Weatherall book but it’s out of print now, though they’ve already reprinted other books in the series so I’ll wait for it to come around again.
Either way, well up for a BoC BooK.

I very much enjoy hearing The Word Becomes Flesh over the end credits of the film Backrooms. BoC must have liked the film’s wonky aesthetic.
