Can remember BODMAS, can’t really remember what it stands for or what it’s purpose is though.

I CAN remember what the following stand for and what their purposes are though:

Never Eat Shredded Wheat (or Naughty Elephants Squirt Water)
Richard Of Your Gave Battle In Vain

There is one for the planets but I can’t remember what the mnemonic is (The planets go Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune Pluto though)

You know those things that thick people post/comment on on Facebook that say something like “only GENIUSES will get this right!!” and it’s a simple piece of arithmetic? That’s what BODMAS is for. Order of mathematical operations.

Brackets ORDERS Divide Multiply Add Subtract

ORDERS is for things like powers/roots

I’ve heard people use Others rather than Orders
