Nothing to do with Bo Derek. Almost can’t believe this was 40 years ago. The pinnacle of ice skating? Not sure, just re-watched this for the first time in decades and it’s not as great as I remember as a young teen, it is very good though, that emotive ending. Did ice skating better this?
Can remember watching their performance in some other olympics and the outrage of the, extremely partisan, commentators about them only getting silver. Was very daft.
There was only one for them really? Proper peak of powers stuff. Not sure how long an ice skaters career is supposed to last. Just watched it again. It is very good (Bolero).
