I like worn in denim too, but really love having a brand new pair of jeans that are dark blue and stiff as a board and seeing how they end up after a few years.
Although saying that, the denim jacket I bought recently has only had a handful of wears so might never get broken in.
I bought a pair of jeans in M&S two weeks ago. They were vastly cheaper than any others in the shop but it during the sale so I thought that was the reason why. Turns out after wearing them a couple of times that the actual reason is they are just shit, badly cut, cheap jeans. They really restrict my thigh movement and it’s like the pockets are sewn in too centrally, so if I put anything in them it restricts me further.
I hate these jeans. It’s been a while since I bought new ones so I thought it must just be that they’re stiff and need worn in. I’ve worn them four or five times but they’re absolutely horrible. Any chance I can bring them back an exchange for something better? There’s no tags on them any more. I don’t see anything that specifically says there needs to be, just that they have to be in a saleable condition. I don’t see any visible sign that they’ve been worn a handful of times either
I think you’ll be able to take them back, explain that they’re poor quality and get an exchange/voucher. They might put up a bit of resistance but if you have any trouble ask for a manager. You shouldn’t have to waste your money on an unusable product.
I got this Beams shirt half price in the END sale. I almost bought it at full price a few weeks ago but remembered @CHAIRMAN_LMAO’s advice that their stuff always ends up the sale, so held my nerve.
I just dont know where to shop anymore - all the last 3 or 4 jumpsuits from joanie have been terrible quality - every one has ripped in ways that are impossible to fix or the zip has broken (plus the crotch is always massive on my body so i look like I’m smuggling a cardboard box in my pants).
What’s seasalt sizing like? Seen a jumpsuit on sale i like. One review says it was “roomy” but not negatively. I’ve got a body like a potato though so not sure if i can pull off roomy as i equate that with baggy things for models.
Always found their men’s sizes to be pretty accurate if that helps? I’ve got some XXL jumpers and shirts that fit me perfectly. I miss my sister working at Seasalt and getting me clothes at cost-price.
