This is directly relevant to my needs. Forgot about that weird Overground bit at Old Street, how busy does it get of a morning?

That looks pleasant as fuck, friend. Nice one!

Got Nils Frahm tickets this morning for February next year. Well excited. Will probably buy tonic and a lemon on my way home, to go with the glass, ice and gin I have in the house.

It’s a squeeze. I used to do Drayton Park to Moorgate when I lived in Highbury and sometimes you’d have to let one or two trains go before being able to get on. They are very frequent though during rush hour.

Aye, thought it might be. One of the (few) benefits of living in New Cross is being the first stop on the line and having a guaranteed seat every day. Might have to adjust my working hours back a bit once we’ve moved which isn’t ideal.

It’s not too bad but sometimes it’s a nightmare. Although I leave it to the last min (i get the 8:46) where LOADS of people clear off at Finsbury Park which is the next stop so it’s never MEGA crowded for long. And if I (rarely!) go in super early, it’s alright.
I’d suggest looking around Harringay station or Hornsey Station. If you keep on the Green Lanes side, it’ll be cheaper than on the crouch end side.

Nice, one cheers for the advice Meo

Yeah it’s pretty busy after Finsbury park but if you get on before then, it clears out and then you can move down and usually get a seat.

Just move here for the Gokyuzu take aways alone.

Can’t remember the last time I bought anything of note at all.

Hoose.

Drayton Park to Moorgate is only 10 mins so I was never bothered about not having a seat.

Take it to the heavy handed satire thread, m7.

I’ve got a Taylor (cutaway free) it’s a lovely guitar

Think my office is going to move to near Exmouth Market soon, which is going to make commuting from Brockley a reeeeeeeal pain.

Your lunches will improve significantly though.

Great lunch options, though. Only a short walk to two Craft Beer Cos as well.

Wow, that’s such a gorgeous part of the world.

Been to Trier a couple of times, and absolutely love the town - and also stayed in Traban-Trabach on my first visit to Germany back in 1993.

That’s without getting onto Koblenz & Cochem…

Mass envy right now.
