If someone in a film says something like “have you ever been to x”, I say “aye it were crap. there were nowt to do and I couldn’t wait to go home”

Feel sorry for people in the past who were prone to migraines, pre-painkillers. Think I’ve experienced two without painkillers and they were both the most brutal few hours of my life, unbearable.

Just been watching Derry Girls with the housemate. He’s not seen it before and seemed quite bemused. Also remembered too late that he’s a better Catholic than I am, so I’m now worried he might have found it a bit disrespectful. Oh no.
