Morning all,

My plan of low level boozing rather than a big blow out yesterday meant a clear head this morning. Good job since about ten minutes after I woke up one of the bastard cats broke a wine glass in the kitchen. Serves me right for not washing up yesterday, so that’s job number one of the day.

Literally no plans other than that. I think Jimbo wants me to play Lego all day.

Set up my wife’s new phone
Put together a stand and stool for a keyboard
Assemble a telescope
Work out some toddler scooter attachment
Some other toy bits

Must remember to only buy fully assembled and operational gifts.

My laddy mates from back in the day who I don’t see anymore (partly deliberately) used to say “he’s here now” as a greeting like when someone arrived at the pub. Pronounced like “he’s here nerh”.

Up at 6.30, feeling fresh enough. wife is still in bed. Blasting out Paste Magazine’s top 50 tracks of 2020 playlist. Some great bangers going on. Almost finished washing up mountain, then have some toast, a shower, make a veg stock for ramen later and crack a beer I think.

@anon89873996 @slicky my son used to have night terrors where he’d sit up in bed and say stuff like “they’re hurting me, ow ow ow”, but was quite clearly asleep and didn’t respond to anything we said. Was really distressing, but thankfully only a short-lived phase, so it will pass fairly quickly I’m sure.
