Maureen Lipman used to do BT ads in the 80s/90s (?) and i remember it being a big deal because everyone was like OMG it’s maureen lipman in those ads.

literally never seen maureen lipman (acting) in anything else before or since.

see also ‘call me bobo’ Bob Hoskins, except i have seen him in other stuff.

I reckon the new lady Admiral from the Admiral insurance ads will be popping up in a three-part BBC family drama by the autumn of 2019.

Also can see a resurgence in poetry as an art form and the current crop of Nationwide bank poets becoming huge stars like Byron etc used to be back in the day.
