Thought at first it was called Establishment IPA, which would have been a much better name and burn.

can’t wait to see what shitty response this gets from them

bet they decide to promote it, praise it as punk

then it turns out they agreed the entire plan with Aldi all along

Have they done a Spunk IPA made with actual jizz, yet?

“We caught one of our legendary brewmeisters, Daz, wanking into our beer because he was angry at people saying we weren’t punk. Any other company would fire him, but we’ve promoted him and are selling the beer as limited edition Spunk IPA.”

Wheeeeeyyyyy banterrrrrr

Hmm yeah its all planned isnt it. Overtone already have a beer called Yaldi too.

Ooof that is weak. Really missed a chance of calling it “Give it laldi” or something

Is this getting “Mother Fucker Day” on the bottom, the silly sausages.

Ideally, now Aldi successfully sues them.

The amount of people on Twitter saying “lol amazing work guys!”, presumably not ironically, is irksome.

BrewDog whole “equity punk” thing has given them a sizeable army of brand cheerleaders, even if the whole thing seems dubious as hell.

Definitely the only good response

Was the same with the Barnard Castle beer - many, many banter merchants in the comments reacting as if Watt had broken new comedy ground with it

Yep, definitely been a set up from the beginning

What’s the odds that Aldi’s “establishment IPA” was just unbranded brewdog to begin with?

Why are they like this?

Now I can’t stand ALDI by association.
