Salt are sound as far as I know
North & Vault City in Tesco too
The Guardian story on the gold can said that the IPO was widely expected this year, but it didn’t have any source or quote for that.
yikes really? Now I can afford them!
yeah a raspberry and a tropical (contract?) brewed specifically for them, £3 or £3.50 I think
still haven’t tried them myself tbh, need to
Vaguely heard it was originally planned for last year somewhere, but the pandemic held it up. I think the FT said recently the city’s expecting it to be next year now and I think the bad PR will only make further delay more likely… too much uncertainty.
They’re good
Both £3
Both up to the standards of their usual session sours
Please let me know where you find them - I assume it’s not worth checking anything that’s not a Tesco Extra I doubt the Edinburgh Park one will have em
Do you mean the one at the retail park there (Hemiston Gait)? That has a pretty big craft section from past experience, I’d be surprised if they’re not there.
Thing is, Limmy’s right. I’ll put it this way…
Would you rather have a ton of bricks dropped on you from above, or a ton of feathers? EXACTLY.
Yeah probs.
If it’s a ton it’s a ton.
Sorry, I got it wrong above. I said bricks and meant steel.
Steel, however, is heavier than feathers.
Use SI units or be cursed to fucking around.
I’m sort of with you on this but even Brewdog, thick as they are, would maybe consider that the weight difference of a six-pack including a solid gold can like you’re suggesting - which would weigh 6-7 kilos - to normal might make the competition pretty easy to get around without anyone buying a single six-pack.
Ha true!
I thought the same, but the wording of the tweet there suggested it was possibly only in crates ordered online which presumably got delivered, which mitigates this a bit. Guess you’d still have the issue of delivery drivers being able to work it out.
Only just realised they had a second gold can promotion running which involved finding it in a secret location
