How? It hasn’t been tweaked yet, and there’s no sign of anything that can/will change in it.
The likelihood is that there will some concessions on the backstop arrangement from both sides of the negotiations.
I just think that this is the most realistic of out comes - that the deal will finally limp over the line in the face of the Commons’ opposition to a no deal scenario. Talk of second referendums and general elections is stuff of fairy tales. It’s not gonna happen.

I agree. The probable outcome is a bodge, semi-hard Brexit leading to a gradual decline over the years/decades. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, and at huge costs.

This plan almost seems feasible, doesn’t it? Apart from it involves May standing up to the brexit lot in her party, so it’s never going to happen. Oh well.
It’s completely unfeasible.
But it gives the ‘sensibles’ another week before they have to face up to the fact that Labour’s strategy is the right one, and it’ll provoke another rift in the Labour party, so it gets their backing
