We used to
Our retirement homes will be full of people playing Yugioh and Magic: the Gathering.
I will be in a huff because nobody will be listening to me explaining why Netrunnerâs better.
I and my regular partner had a code for showing each other which was our strongest suit before the bidding started.
You should get Hanabi, @eems. Little card game where youâre basically trying to build tricks with your partner by communicating limited information with each other. Except you hold your hand of cards facing outwards so you never see whatâs in your own hand.
I think itâs popular in the @plasticniki house.
YES
In my experience it works better when thereâs more than 2 of you though.
It is a little bit of an argument generator with two.
well yeah if you were playing for money I can understand this. canât imagine wanting to cheat at bridge just for the thrill of winning
There was some controversy in the penoid card game community last year when someone who won a major tournament was caught cheating on film a few times during the tournament (palming cards to draw more cards than they should). Then made a sockpuppet forum account to defend themselves and got caught out too.
There wasnât even any money at stake or anything. People are weird.
Itâs not a game, itâs officially recognised as a âmind sportâ by the International Olympic Committee (the only other one being chess)
fo,m

Actually bridge boxing would be excellent. Tag in your partner when youâre getting a pasting.
rolls eyes
Might need to tag your partner in mate, you look like youâre out on your feet here.
I know itâs really ancient but thatâs about all, really cool that some buff roman dudes were playing it though.
and weedy ones too.
I donât know hardly anything about it, just that thereâs loads of different ways to play it. the board and pieces are the only things that âareâ backgammon if you catch my drift.
