Watched the Bros doc back-to-back with Roma for New Years Eve the other year because I was at home ill. Might make it make an annual tradition (just the Bros film)

Really like BBC positioning the doc as a Christmas film, like The Wrong Trousers or something. It just makes sense doesn’t it?

Was making this argument last night! I think because it was such a huge part of Christmas last year. I watched it three times showing it to people, their reactions were as entertaining as the doc itself

I definitely first watched it on a post-work train back to my partner’s for Christmas break. Bought some dead nice beers from the market thing in St Pancras and giggled myself silly.

watched this doc again a couple of nights ago. it’s amazing, it’s funny, it’s really sweet as well. was in tears a good few times. love the brothers Goss. :heart_eyes:

on second viewing I was more on Matts side, reckon Luke knew exactly how to push his buttons. Also amazed at how similar it is to Brian Pern, even the way they speak

Rhys Thomas and co did a mockumentary about / with Gary and Martin Kemp about a year ago based very much on the style of the Bros doc (which is possibly post-post-post-modernism or something)

it wasn’t as good as Brian Pern, but it had its moments.
