yes, although you’d struggle to get up anerley hill on a single speed
that park (Betts) is a bit notorious locally as a bit of a crime hotspot

I struggle to get up Anerley hill on a 24 speed.
we’ve started ending penge rides at the cafe on top of anerley hill in the bike shop, rather than blue belle in penge. but because no one wants to ride up anerley hill, we’ll go through penge and up crystal palace park road all the way around instead. must add a couple of miles. fuck that hill.
Before the bike shop was there the cycling clubs used to hang out en masse in Paradou, next to Nazi Food and Wine, opposite the bus station
i think brixton and dulwich still meet there
thankfully the bike shop in penge is getting a coffee shop so we can never ever ride up there again
