Cake Dilemma!

I just found a tin with little cup cakes in it in the fridge. My wife and kids made them a couple of days ago after foraging wild blackcurrants. They’re delicious and the kids were very excited. I didn’t know there was any left and presumed she was saving some for them so I texted her “can I eat one of the cakes in the fridge?” She replied “oh go on then eat both of them! :)”

THERE ARE THREE CAKES IN THE TIN

  • eat all three, no-ones any the wiser
  • eat two and surprise her/one of the kids with the third cake
  • eat two and surprise her/one of the kids with the third cake BUT pretend there were only two and I only had one to save them one
  • eat one cake and surprise them with two
  • eat one cake and surprise them with two BUT pretend I didn’t eat any afterall
  • don’t eat any cake for some reason

You know what Smee, they say life is like a box of chocolates, but it’s really an endless procession of cake.

Is the tin a cake? What about the fridge? Are you certain your other half isn’t actually cake?

Not a single photo of said cupcakes. I hope your fridge burns down.

Actually I didn’t do any of the above. I ate all three cakes and confessed to doing so
