I’m trying to get an old mobile set up so the eldest can use it as an MP3 player on our forthcoming holiday. I performed a factory reset and restarted it - Android has now asked me to sign in under an account that was previously synced to the phone. (I guess it’s a way of protecting phones from theft)
I’ve put the account details in from when I’d previously used the phone, but it keeps sending me round in a loop, asking for the sign-in details again 
any ideas what I might be doing wrong? My password is definitely correct and I can only think of one account I would have used. It’s really annoying!
