Does the job very well but it turns out that it “sticks out too much” and is the “wrong colour” (we waited several weeks more than needed for this specific colour)

I realised my washing machine could be one of those ones that catch fire this morning - so spent a good 10 minutes faffing on the internet and trying to find the serial number.

Apparently it’s fine and is not going to catch fire

Just bought a Samsung ecobubble. gets delivered on Sunday. NGL, pretty excited as old machine just wasn’t getting (admittedly toddler/ weaponsgrade) stains out and clothes smelt fusty.

The filters smell and weird grey gunk comes out of them. Plus the odd hairclip and stuff. I will do it though, promise.

In other washing machine related chat I ACTUALLY fixed the door of mine by finding a part ONLINE and taking apart the whole thing and putting the new mechanism in. The door was in pieces with the glass and bowl separate and everything. I also had to hack the door by opening it looping a cable around as it was stuck closed. The best DIY I have done for a year or more at least.
