Anything in a pouch or can is good to go uncooked. You could eat a Fray Bentos pie from the tin if you wanted with no ill effects.
I am not responsible for any problems if people do this however.

My long departed grandfather once put a fray bentos pie in the oven without removing the lid. My father thankfully got to it, bulging and about to explode before it popped thankfully. Otherwise either of them could have had a face full of metal and beef/pastry.
