I think some/a lot are made of soy these days, though I’m not sure if that’s any better from an environmental impact perspective…

I went to a ghibli one in a church in brum. It was really lovely to be honest but there was no drink, and church pews are really uncomfortable on your bum so overall i would say it was an average experience. It was pretty magical when they played the totoro theme though, and we did have a lovely italian after so i think the night was a success.
Definitely needed a bit of being arsed mind.
