Yeah, so my question was is the bottom of the range 80% of the top of the range. So just say the top of the range is 55k the bottom is 55 x 0.8 = 44k
That would possibly explain why they are referring to 80-90% being the bottom of the range. It’s confusing as fuck and I wouldn’t have done it like that but it’s possible that’s what they’re doing.
Is it possible that
80%-90% is £160-£180
90%-100% is £180-£200
100%-110% is £200-£220
And <£160 and >£220 = take no action at all? Guess it depends on the original command.
Yeah, depends on the original statement (which I can understand not sharing) if it implies that you have to be in one of those 3 categories and op isn’t I don’t understand.
No it is not possible as the pay rise is staggered depending on where you are in the grade
If you are at the bottom of the grade and you’ve been dead good at your job you get a bigger raise than someone at the top of the grade who has done an equally good job - so it doesn’t make any sense at all to have people who are below 80% of the maximum in the pay grade to be not eligible for any raise at all!
I’m very sure it’s not set up like that!
