Can you drive a cog swapper?
Answer is no
Do you respect wood?
Imagine driving round in a big stick
- Can drive
- Can drive auto only
- Canāt drive
I drive about a million different types of vehicle because job, and quite a few have one pedal for forward, and another for reverse.
All vehicles should have one forward pedal and another for reverse, I reckon.
Can drive manual, donāt want to
Learned in a manual, passed in an auto cause thats what my wife can drive. 10x better, cant see myself ever wanting to drive a manual again.
Yeah but I get my panties in a bunch so I could care less.
Didnāt used to bother me but have become a bit embarrassed about not being able to drive recently
(sorry for turning a joke thread into a serious one)
My interest in how cars work vastly outweighs my desire to actually drive one.
Iām finally getting round to learning, and enjoy using the stick.
Takes the boredom out a bit.
I think itās the āhavenāt remotely got my shit togetherā aspect of it and Iām getting too old now to get away with it
I guarantee you I have my shit less together than your shit, and Iām a driver. thereās no correlation.
Put āCan driveā cos Iāve passed my test and Iām legally allowed to drive, but I absolutely canāt drive. Havenāt had a go in years and these days I canāt walk round the house without colliding with a static object
sorry I missed this thread and thus recreated this poll in a different one. Apologies
Learnt and passed in a manual. First couple of cars were manual, current car and last car both autos. Never going back to manual if I can avoid it. Auto is so much easier and definitely helps me concentrate better on everything else, not worrying about clutch/gear stick and all that.
Just for the record, this thread (which I forgot I posted) was originally posted because I am always confused when I hear Americans say things like ādrive stickā, no positive or negative sentiment to drivers or cars were intended in the original posting of this thread.
This one is better IMo
However, in this reply, I would like to say fuck cars
Iām learning out of shame, rather than necessity.
Itās been an expensive grind, but it gets easier.
