Both our goals scored by Bilal.
Given the obstacles we faced (last-minute injuries, people getting the kick-off time wrong, couple of debuts, a no-show, lack of subs) we did actually pretty well, even if the scoreline tells a different story. One of the goals the opposition “scored” wasn’t even over the line. Everyone worked their socks off, we had a decent number of chances and in particular Ben was very unlucky with his headers. At the other end of the pitch, Andy was an absolute rock in goal. Newbies Bilal, Isaac and Richard all made promising starts.
We’ll play them again in February, and provided we have a full squad, there is no reason we can’t beat them. Onwards and upwards!
