Duffy
Don’t see many lamplighters these days
i saw him in Bristol in a pizza express.
there’s a list for Justin lee Collins spots in pizza expresses? I know brusma had a spreadsheet, but this is ridiculous.
He’s a cunt, can’t you read?
I didn’t know either, there’s some links upthread
I was wondering…
…though there probably should still be a list
Weirdly remembered about him the other day. Never liked the way he referred to himself as ‘the JLC’. Think his TV niche has been stolen by Keith Lemon now
Gerald Ratner/crapgate was probably my favourite.
walked by this again today and there were some additional "FUCK OFF"s written on it
Loom operative Steam engineer Blacksmith Zeppelin pilot UKIP MP
It’s the UKIP MEPs who have completely done themselves
Angus Deayton? Don’t think his career ever recovered completely. Think it’s ironic that Richard Bacon bounced back more successfully despite being a Blue Peter presenter
It’s still quite surprising how much work he has been doing and the types of shows he’s been in since his “disgrace”. He has been working consistently since he stopped presenting HIGNFY.
Anthea Turner.
Wasn’t he a main character on Nighty Night? Saw him on Room 101 as well recently
My cousin is a weaver (loom operative) and she runs workshops across Scotland. there are loads of us weavers out there!
Also, unless half of my client base is wrong, I think steam engineering is definitely still a thing.
Mine if I don’t stop procrastinating and get off this bleeding website.
yeah they all still exist - I mean I know a guy who makes medieval armour and weaponry for a living ffs - but you would still say that as career choices they’ve gone down the shitter since their respective hey days.
From reading magazines and newspapers occasionally, I have a feeling that proof readers and sub-editors no longer exist or are at least far fewer in number.
I see it more that they are now niche/highly sought after rather than mainstream/ up against loads of competition. But then I am a contrary little madam.
This is true. Most papers don’t have their own subs anymore and it’s all outsourced to shitty content farm-style agencies.
