Definitely sounds like it, or at least meant to evoke her.

Agree this is shaping up to be great. Seems to be taking a bit of a different approach to the more synthpoppy last two but totally nailing it.

Caroline Rose
You’re a store bought woman
But you make me sing like a guitar hummin’
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin’ onnnnnnn
Play it now, play it now
Play it now, my baby

Listened to Miami about 15 times in a row today

Think I might have to go to that Heaven gig. The rest of her stuff seems great too. Doldrums is wonderful

Properly, properly love it. She’s a star :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yeah really loving it too. Fairly sure it’ll be up there for my album of the year after 5 listens today.

This series of tweets suggests there’s a proper back story to this record too that’ll become apparent over a few listens

It really feels like an album of real exposed feelings and emotion which is probably why I am connecting to it so much

100%. First thing I thought when I heard Miami was ‘wow, there’s a story behind this…’ which the video totally backs up.

The whole record feels like an emotional rollercoaster
