Had given this new a record a few listens and whilst i thought a coupla tracks were excellent the whole record wasn’t landing as i’d hoped.
Anyway, not long ago had a penny has dropped/somethings clicked kinda moment. What a record.
The final refrain on the record is immense :heart_eyes:

Yesss! It is a bit less immediate than her previous two albums but think it flows really well. Got enough high points to justify the slower atmospheric songs.

Only just got into her after hearing TOAF for the first time yesterday and buying tickets to her Brighton gig about 1 min into the first track, so this is excellent news for me. Hope it’s the same for the UK part of the tour

Saying that, now need to check out the rest of the back catalogue and see if it’s all as good!

WXPN captured a truly extraordinary performance of “Miami” at a Philadelphia concert a couple of weeks ago. The final minute or so is almost too difficult to watch, just seems so personal.

Similarly in Manchester this week. It was the most extraordinarily good performance, but I was also just thinking “I hope they’re ok”… Going to the show turned me from a casual listener into a total fan. Seriously good.

I had signed up previously, and then got another text last night to enter in my number for the pre-sale at 10. But then realised that it was one of the Barbican venues, so I was able to get two tickets as part of my Barbican membership before the normal (or Caroline Rose) presale, so bought mine yesterday.
I haven’t received the 10am text that I was expecting for Caroline’s pre sale yet though.
