My mum’s old cat loved snacking on daddy long legs, which was great cos I hate the fuckers, they really creep me out.

Perhaps took this to an extreme once when one was sat in the corner of my bedroom where the wardrobe was, avoiding all attempts to catch and remove it. So I got said cat, shoved him on top of the wardrobe, and refused to let him down until he’d eaten the insect…

Hey I didn’t mean to imply it wasn’t worth it at all. TBH I haven’t looked into it in over 10 years so it’s likely policies are a lot better.

When I did I mainly recall

  • high premiums

  • high excess

  • a ceiling in payouts for a single issue

The ceiling was okay say 3 to 5k max but the clauses included stuff about how if your pet had an issue that they deemed might have been caused by an earlier illness/accident, then the subsequent issue would be under the the same ceiling limit.

So I kept thinking about my car being hit by a car in its first year and major surgery but it affecting most organs so they could later claim almost any subsequent issue was tied to that.

Tfw you’re trying to slyly and not too dangerously closely sniff your cats tail to discern whether that little brown ball she’s got stuck there is a burr or a lump of dried poo :sob::face_vomiting:

Heck with that. Grab a tissue or pet wipe and remove regardless. All are guilty! No quarter given! Up the reds!

Lola is a very hairy cat and we had to hold her down to clean some hair from her hairy bum. It was a traumatising experience for all.

PINE

Pippin is very hard to photograph but she is a lovely, very silly cat.

That’s my teddy bear and Bam’s drawing of our other cat on the top right!

I plucked a dried bit of poo from Princess’ actual arsehole last week. It had been stuck there for months!

:face_vomiting::face_vomiting:
But seriously though, I admire your love and dedication
I think Winnie would kill me if tried to touch her actual butt.

i have never removed feces from my cat’s arsehole nor needed to, just for the record.

is this the new one? Look at that tail!

It is! Her tail is wonderful. She’s a bit more confident with climbing but she keeps falling asleep in funny places. I’m quite fond of her already.

We have two cats, one is fat and can’t reach her behind to clean herself so Mrs NY has to wipe her down from time to time. I can’t be in the house when it happens as it induces bile from me.

I had to fully pin her down and use tweezers :joy:

next door’s cat sat in my garden for ages the other day when it was raining, under the shelter of a hedge, was nice to know it was still around!

Also had a fox come and visit.

Sorry I don’t have any pictures
