First thing to do will be to pop her in the litter tray to show her that’s where she goes, too.
I am so excited for you.
Cannot wait for more updates
oh my god you will get them
They are great big lovable idiots.
I love her colouring!
Tanuki’s creatinine is down by two-tenths, so his kidney disease is getting under control. No signs of enlarged heart but keeping an eye on that heart murmur. But his arthritis is spreading into his spine and the vet thinks he may have to go on gabapentin at some point.
Also, he had very bad reactions to the compounded liquid form of the appetite stimulant, so we are going to try transdermal. I hate that I spent all that money on the liquid and am just basically throwing it out after only a couple of tries but he doesn’t need the added stress and neither do I.
Otherwise, he’s reasonably health for an elderly cat and nothing new showed on any of the tests, so we’re good for another six months.
And we know how much cats hate change. Poor little muffins just look so stressed!
She’s here! And she’s terrified (but still loves a stroke). Managed to get her purring but she hasn’t come out of her house yet.
Awww she’ll be absolutely grand. They just need to hide for a bit.
Congratulations again! So happy for you
I don’t know if you’ve welcomed cats before, so you may know…but it often takes ages for them to stop hiding. Ours spent weeks under/on things hiding before they felt happy enough to socialise with us.
Yeah - we’re expecting it to be a while, but she is already tentatively looking around and coming to hide in corners near us so fingers crossed she’s feeling a little comfortable already.
Excellent. We all expect updates and photos on a regular basis.
We lost Xander in the first few weeks and eventually found the fucking nugget here.
Yay!
She is a perfect princess and very pretty. How big is she?
Sweet, shy girl x
She is tiiiiiny. The size of a medium kitten atm, but she is 3yrs old so isn’t going to grow any more I don’t think.
So smol I’m going to have to demand videos as soon as possible.
They can really surprise you. 24 hours after this munchkin kitten was introduced to the 2-year old munchkin:
Also, here is a video of a momma-cat with dwarfism and her surviving kitten:

Oh, that’s amazing.
It might just be our neurotic cats. Ellie was abused, then left starving in an empty house as her owners moved away. And these two are just weird, so they’ve all taken so long to adjust.
