Saw the big lads this weekend, A is still a soft affectionate baby with humans but really hardfaced with other cats, dismissive towards next doors dogs and a killer of any small creature that dares to wander close to him. He is still racist too, hates all cats expect his brother and other black and white cats
And L is still really noisy and loves really rough aggressive pats and is obsessed with peoples socks. He also has a note on his collar that my mum put on saying “please don’t feed me” because he definitely used to eat out and roams really far, while his brother prefers to patrol the garden.
They both refuse anything that isn’t sheba or gourmet, my mum got them onto it. When I had them over the summer when she went abroad a few years back, I was broke and just gave them lidl cat food and they weren’t pleased but still ate it, I got them a tin of whiskas from the shop when they ran out of food a few months back, they wouldn’t touch it and we had to defrost some chicken for them

but they are good boys and I am so happy to have seen them happy and well, really worry about L getting run over with his roaming and the heavy traffic around here, and A is so attached to him and would be very upset. When L had surgery and had to stay indoors, depressed by the window, A kept coming to check on him, it was so cute
@xcheopis so sorry to hear about sweet Tanuki
my old boy is buried in our back garden and it’s been years but I still feel so much love for that cat, they really are so precious
