My tiny bean has unfortunately been hospitalized :crying_cat_face: . She was so ill all night long so took her in this morning to have bloods done and she has v high white blood cells (that means an infection) and chronic/possibly acute kidney failure.

Pls ask your cats to send cat prayers to my baby princess pls :revolving_hearts:

The girls are one and I found them celebrating by having a cuddle at the top of the stairs when I went to bed.

Turns out the easiest way to get undivided attention from a Siamese is to wave a breadstick in her general direction.

So had a call this morning to say her kidney levels had not improved but the infection had gone so that was good. They wanted to do an ultra sound to see if she had a tumour or a cyst so I said yes. Then as the day went on I thought that there probably isn’t any point as the results of the ultrasound would lead to her being operated on which I don’t want for her.
My boyfriend came home from golf and decided it’s his child and we can go break her out of the vets and bring her home!
So basically she’s now home! But we’re pretty much doing palliative care (meds, anti depressants and injected fluids!) and treating her as if she has end of life kidney failure :sob: She has perked up 10000% since being home even for an hour. There she was all miserable and slumped over and hating everything, now she’s very chill and happy.
We’re gonna have to treat every day as it comes until the day comes to say goodbye but I’m so happy she’s home and comfortable and relaxed. I can finally unwind.

My baby!!
