Really like catchphrase

There was a great one where this really nice bloke got through to the final round and Steve has all like ‘what will you spend the money on if you win?’ And the bloke was all ‘I’d love to take the kids to South Africa (or somewhere) to see their grandparents who they have never met’ and then when he played the final, he got the catchphrase on the bonus prize square - and the bonus prize was a ‘trip to south africa’ !

I think he might have won the star money prize as well - he was absolutely in bits at the end, just totally overwhelmed! Fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. Very emotional. Good telly!

What I don’t like is when Steven starts taking the piss out of a contestant who might not be as naturally gifted at catchphrase as the other contestants, and starts being quite patronising to them.
Not everyone can be good at catchphrase Steven! And I’m sure your bullying of them makes a difficult, challenging and pressurised situation even more stressful!

Remember when they rebooted catchphrase about 15 years ago and the presenter broke his leg just before and presented the entire series on crutches and then it got cancelled, not sure he’s done any telly since, I often think about that guy
