Free CDs on the front of music and computing magazines.

The music ones chock full of album tracks and b-sides, the computing ones full of shareware and demos.

The discs with PlayStation magazines which in later PsOne life had those Yaroze games people had made.

It was a some weird 6 CD changer that you loaded from the top and a carousel moved the discs into the play arm.

EDIT: I’ve never seen a similar one since and I can’t find any examples online now.
