It would only be chaos before the day was out, just never worth it.

Only toys I properly organise are the trains and train tracks because it is satisfying getting them all arranged so you manage to fit everything in perfectly, enrages me when someone else does it and can’t manage to fit the bridge or station in the box.

We end up washing and hanging onto any plastic tuppers we get with takeaways so it is now a mountain. We’ve got a few glass ones and they are excellent. Should just get more and recycle the rest

I have a lot of stuff, but most of the flat is pretty neat and organised. Some of your kitchen cupboards are freaking me out a bit, although I have been forced to live like that in the past when sharing with other people

We have a migrating chaos pile. It’s usual life-cycle is that it will get moved and tidied into a bigger pile until it reaches its final resting place on top of my record-player. The next time I try to play vinyl, I will then separate it into separate chaos piles for individual members of the family to sort. These will be ignored for around 24 hours, then re-compiled into a master chaos pile, which will once more begin its noble migration around the kitchen.
