Wrapping up my first listen to Letter to Yu and it’s really great.
I only listened to the Charlotte album for the first time about a month ago, and while it’s charming there’s a fair bit of corniness, lyrically, even though I recognize some is tongue in cheek it doesn’t always come across as such. I hoped to like it more.
But this is a jam.

I haven’t listened to the first album yet, but Letters To Yu has totally gotten under my skin, I absolutely adore it and can’t stop listening. Phenomenal album.

On vacation in Ghent and saw the LP in a shop window yesterday. Tempted to pick it up as it’s sold out on Bandcamp, but there are some copies on Discogs available in the US. Would rather pay the artist but worried about bringing it home safely with everything else I’m lugging around.
