Am on leave this week because the bastards won’t let me carry it over to the next leave year. Particularly annoying as I’m about to move house and will need time off then.

I’m so bored. I’ve done everything in the cleaning and washing stakes and it’s now raining so it won’t be fun to go out for a walk.

New neighbour is having work done and has been/the workmen have been happily parking blocking my drive and blocking me in all day every day so if I want to go out I have to ask them to move and wait.

Sometimes his drive is even empty and they’re just being lazy about pulling in to it.

We are in to week three now.

  • You’re valid in feeling proper irked
  • Fuck him, you should slash his tires
  • Just take a deep breath and let it go

Also I’m working from home so drilling, banging and workmen singing along to kings of Leon all day, and a couple of evenings he’s come over and been doing stuff until pretty late - including some hammering at 10:30pm(!)

Thing is, I’m pretty reasonable, if he asked or acknowledged it in some way, or gave me a time scale or literally anything then I would at least be less irked, but the idea of having to ask to leave my fucking house without ever having it acknowledged that I’m being inconvenienced is the most infuriating bit
