I will give Pudsey a few quid at the station on my way home tonight, and the kids’ school have ‘odd socks’ day today which is fine.

If people want to shave their heads or bungee jump off a multi-storey car park then that’s fine and I might throw a couple of quid their way, but I’m not going to stand around and watch.

Not a chance in hell I’ll be watching any of the TV coverage tonight to watch the newsreaders’ zany attempts at the Monster Mash and an Eastenders / Peaky Blinders crossover.

I’d take that over Peter Kay.

They don’t really go out to the other studios like they used to. I liked it in the 80s when it moved to Glasgow and you’d have hilarious things like people pledging money if Andy Cameron wore a Celtic strip. Plus the Krankies every year.
