chocolate wankers (rolling)

Not sure if others have bad opinions of it but have a browse on https://cocoarunners.com/ and see what takes your fancy, some sub £5 bars on there (although not that many) that will be good quality but yeah around the £5 mark upwards I’d say

I’m not usually a chocolate wanker btw, I mean I like white chocolate! But definitely interesting tasting different beans from different countries side by side

It’s a wanker thread for a reason

Well, quite. I’d have bought it already if it was £1.99!

But equally I’ve bought plenty of craft beers at this price range which were bang average, so if I really believed this would be some of the best chocolate I’d ever tasted I would think about it. But that would need to be from reviews or recommendations, not going to spend that on the strength of a Facebook advert alone, even if it was admittedly well-targeted.

can’t imagine it being nicer than a Galaxy tbh

Year before last, I bought at least 2 every time I saw them being sold after Easter had finished. Ended up with about 15 in the egg bit in my fridge and they lasted about 6 months

I’ve been inside a dark kitchen in East London where they make craft/wanker chocolate. I’m never eating anything that isn’t made on a massive dystopian production line by oppressed robots ever again.

Should have told them to turn the lights on

Curious about what was so bad about this that it made the mass production by evil conglomerates option look good by comparison

Rats? Was it rats? Or hipster artisans not wearing hairnets on their beards? Oompa loompas?

I’ve been in my fair share of labs in my time, and it was less charmingly artisanal and more reminiscent of an old housemate who used to make homebrew and try to extract platinum from old tarmac and used the same (stolen) kit for both. And didn’t wash his hands very often.
