seems optimistic
Got a couple of newbies on the list…
Nothing yet!
Saturday night I’m going to this though
Film #1: mystery film
Film #2: Rare Exports
Film #3: mystery film
Film #4: mystery film but this one is the Christmas slasher roulette
Spending all night in the cinema without knowing 75% of what I’m seeing, should be good.
(There are clues to the mystery films, but please nobody tell me what you think they are, I’m in for the surprises, ta)
If you do can you get it on Spotify so I can get it into the office playlist rotation, please?
Just been looking up some other Christmas themed horror - the list has grown

Wanna watch these
Two filks with the same cast and director etc, starring two IRL sisters, telling different stories but when they meet up it shows the same scenes from different POVs. Hallmark getting experimental!
these look quite fun from new releases.
always worht a watch too
Watched The Holiday the other night. My parents once told me they nearly walked out of the cinema when they saw it because it was so bad so I was expecting high cringe, but was sorely disappointed.
It’s just so bland. Barely even has any conflict. It’s like paint by numbers but every number corresponds to the same shade of beige.
Main complaint is that Jack Black is useless and out of place, Winslet should have just got it on with the old fella next door she really connected with.
Scrooged has been WATCHED for the first time ever by me. Was quite sweet but not very funny. Cried
Family Switch starts off rubbish but is surprisingly decent
10 elfs out of 10
First Christmas media has been taken in today; went to see a dance version of Edward Scissorhands. My sister obscured the fact that it was dance from me because she thought I wouldn’t go for it, and I was annoyed about that but I actually ended up really enjoying it.
I’m hoping we can listen to audiobook version of Pratchett’s Hogfather while we put the decorations up tomorrow.
Candy Cane Lane is actually decent! Nice novel idea for a film (the 12 Days of Christmas come to life), has some good heart and schmaltz and a couple.of laughs. A kid bodypops for no reason
10 lords a leaping out of 10
really fucks me off that some people don’t like How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
Tried watching twice gave up twice
Just saw Home Alone for the first time. That streets Neighbourhood Watch needs a reform
The real Grinch is you! ![]()
No wonder I keep getting royalty cheques each year!
Watched this at the weekend - was alright. Kids liked it.
Looking forward to this one landing this week…
I thought Candy Cane Lane was a horror tbh, the google genre said it was so was a bit misled! I thought it was good fun though yeah
